DAY WISE ITINERARY
Day 1 :
Depart London Heathrow to Montreal on an afternoon flight. Arrive Montreal in the evening on the same day. Meet your guide and coach then transfer to your hotel to check in for a 2 night stay. Welcome dinner in the hotel.

Day 2 :
Breakfast. Enjoy a tour of Montreal including the Notre-Dame Basilica, Old Montreal – established in 1642, and the underground city, a network of nearly 32 kilometres of underground paths and tunnels connecting shopping centres, subways and buildings. It is a wonderful retreat when heavy snow lays above ground allowing people to shop eat and take in the culture without fretting about the cold weather above ground. Enjoy dinner in a local restaurant. Return to the hotel for overnight.

Day 3 :
Breakfast. Depart by coach towards Quebec to visit the Sugar Shack Maple Syrup operation. Enjoy a private tour to learn how maple syrup is produced, seeing the process from extraction to bottling. Return to Montreal for dinner and overnight

Day 4 :
Breakfast and check out. Depart to Toronto with a visit farm en-route. On arrival enjoy a walking tour of this bustling city including St Lawrence Market, made up of 3 large buildings given over to the trading of fruit and vegetables, a farmers market and the third given over to retail and administration. Then it’s off to the Distillery district where you will feel like you have stepped back into the 1850s. Enjoy a tasting of Canadian whiskey and other local delicacies. Depart to your hotel to check in for a 3 night stay. Dinner in the hotel.

Day 5 :
Breakfast. Transfer to the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair for the day. Enjoy the equestrian competitions or take in the many livestock displays and judging that are part of the fair’s daily activity. Enjoy some of the animal entertainment and displays or take in the food and entertainment quarter. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 6 :
Breakfast. Transfer to the show ground to spend a second day enjoying the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair. Enjoy dinner in the CN Tower restaurant. Return to hotel for overnight.

Day 7 :
Breakfast and check out. Depart to the Ontario Livestock Exchange. Operating in the Livestock Auction Marketing Business since the 1950’s, the Electronic Auction Market was introduced in the late 1970’s. Over the past years millions of head of livestock have been auctioned electronically,
paving the way for an efficient and economical means of marketing. At the live auction facility, there are 5 different auction rings operating simultaneously, along with a Farmer’s Market that leases to some 400 vendors. Depart to The Stockyard Farmers’ Market, now known as the St. Jacobs Farmers’ Market and dates back to 1952. The St. Jacobs Farmers’ Market is a much-loved tradition in the Waterloo Region. Still home to the largest population of Old Order Mennonites in Canada, you’ll often see farmers on local roads traveling to the market by horse & buggy. Transfer to your hotel for a 2 night stay. Dinner in the hotel.

Day 8 :
Breakfast. Visit to Ontario Pork, which represents 1,000 pork producers marketing 5.9 million hoggs per year. Hear about the animal welfare policies and the quality label for an organisation that generates $2.8 billion in economic output and is responsible for the employment of an industry of 15,000 people. Mid-morning visit the Beef Farmers of Ontario organisation, representing 19,000 beef farmers, to hear about the regions outstanding beef production. Depart to the University of Guelph, which is an international leader in education, research and promotion of animal breeding, genetics and genomics of livestock. Research includes work on cattle, swine, sheep, goat and turkey. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight

Day 9 :
Breakfast. Visit to a feed and farm supply business based in the Brussels Livestock Yard, one of the largest privately owned livestock yards in the State. The owner also has a Wagyu beef operation with a 100 acre spread producing pure bred Wagyu beef selling stock across Canada and who has achieved European Certification to allow exports to Europe. The stock are grazed on pasture and spend the winter indoors. Visit a small livestock farming operation working on regenerative principles who produce their own beef, pork and lamb on the farm. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 10 :
Breakfast and check out. Depart to Niagara on the Lake. This picturesque small town sits on the banks of Lake Niagara, where you will learn about the production of the regional wine. You will visit a number of the wineries to enjoy a tasting and have a cheese board and charcutier lunch. Enjoy some free time to explore the town. Depart to Niagara Falls to check in to your hotel for a 2 night stay. Dinner in the hotel.

Day 11 :
Breakfast. Spend the morning getting up close to the magnificent falls on a Falls Boat Tour. Afternoon at leisure to explore the town and enjoy a variety of views of the falls. Farewell Dinner in Niagara Falls. Return to the hotel and overnight.

Breakfast at leisure and enjoy some free time before transferring to Toronto airport for your evening flight to London Heathrow.
