DAY WISE ITINERARY
Day 1 :
Assemble at Auckland Airport and fly direct to Vancouver, Canada on Air New Zealand. On arrival meet your Canadian guide, check into your hotel and relax for the evening.

Day 2 :
After breakfast take a tour of beautiful Vancouver including Stanley Park and the vibrant Granville Island market with its galleries and crafts, food and boutique stalls. You will have time to try local specialites for lunch. Later better get to know your travelling companions over a “Welcome Dinner”.

Day 3 :
This morning adventure awaits at the Capilano Suspension Bridge. Nestled among acres of rainforest, the bridge affords views of the mountains and canyon, while the elevated walkway of Treetops Adventure gives you an impressive new perspective. The bridge is 140 metres long and 70 metres above the river. This afternoon you are free to explore – perhaps take a trip to Grouse Mountain and ride the iconic Red Skyride for stunning views and an alpine stroll.

Day 4 :
HAPPY CANADA DAY! Travel through the Fraser Valley with its fertile lands, lush fruit orchards, incredible weather and spectacular scenery. Visit local enterprises typical of this region including fruit/vegetables, wine and a rotary dairy. Continue to the Okanagan region where we check into your hotel for the evening.

Day 5 :
Travel north to the magnificent Rockies with a lunch stop en route. Continue through Mount Revelstoke National Park and Glacier National Park and over Rogers Pass, on some of the most scenic highway views in the world! Enjoy time for a short walk in the mountains and see the engineering marvels of the Rockies. Cross the Continental Divide from British Columbia into Alberta. Tonight we stay at Saskatchewan Crossing.

Day 6 :
Theres another chteau in store this morning as you begin your return journey to Paris. Weve saved the biggest for last and youll be dazzled by the views of the grand Chteau de Chambord and its surrounding forest. Imagine royal hunting parties combing the woods for wild game as you wind your way north past orchards, vineyards, cathedrals and chteaux. Later youll arrive in Paris in time to enjoy a memorable Optional Experience this evening featuring dinner and a dazzling cabaret show. It’s the perfect way to spend the first of your two nights in the French capital, indulging in its legendary nightlife and making lasting memories with new friends.

Day 7 :
This morning enjoy a sightseeing tour of Paris with your Travel Director, taking in the Eiffel Tower and grand Champs-lyses as well as the iconic Arc de Triomphe, honouring those who fought and died for France over the centuries. Then theres time to discover Paris your way. Take a stroll through the medieval Latin Quarter with a Local Specialist during an Optional Experience or perhaps simply people-watch at a sidewalk bistro. This evening enjoy a final dinner with your travelling companions in this incomparable city.

Day 8 :
Today enjoy miles of captivating scenery and possibly sight wildlife as we head for Jasper National Park. Pass stunning vistas of alpine meadows, waterfalls and glacier masses. Highlight of the day… a memorable ride on the 1,000 foot thick Columbia Icefield aboard a Sno-Coach at Athabasca Glacier! Depart for stunning Lake Louise with time to explore on your own or perhaps take a stroll part way
around the lake. Later continue on to the picturesque mountain village of Banff.

Day 9 :
We tour the surrounding area including Bow Falls, Tunnel Mountain and the Hoodoos and take a scenic gondola ride to the top of Sulphur Mountain for aerial views of the Rockies. Later you can enjoy the shops, beautiful sights and gardens this town has to offer. This evening enjoy a special Western Cookout!

Day 10 :
This morning we travel to a purebred cattle ranch in the foothills of Alberta, one of Canada’s largest agricultural provinces. We also visit an intriguing Hutterite colony cooperative where modern and traditional farming and lifestyles combine. After lunch at the farm continue to central Alberta town for the evening.

Day 11 :
Travel further in central Alberta and visit a sheep breeding operation and gain an insight into Canada’s sheep farming industry. This afternoon visit a cattle ranch and meet the owner, a national and international livestock auctioneer. Enjoy dinner with your hosts before returning to Red Deer.

Day 12 :
Travel to vibrant Calgary where you are off to the “Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth”, taking the C-train, (Calgary’s Rapid Transit) to visit the Calgary Stampede the famous Calgary Stampede! Enjoy the huge exhibition areas, art, music, machinery, livestock and entertainment. You can also see the exciting afternoon Rodeo – a must see as champions ride broncos, bulls, and rope steers.

Day 13 :
Enjoy the morning relaxing or exploring a little of Calgary. You have the option with your C-train pass on Calgary’s Rapid Transit to visit the Calgary Stampede or visit downtown, Kensington shopping area or Heritage Park Village. Later return to the Stampede where you have evening tickets to the thrilling Chuck Wagon races where outriders thunder down the track as if chased by a herd of stampeding cattle! This is followed by the award winning Grandstand Show – an exhilarating end to an exciting day!

Day 14 :
Depart for Calgary Airport and fly to Toronto in eastern Canada. From the airport, continue to the attractive rural Waterloo region and check into your hotel for overnight.

Day 15 :
Enjoy a full day of touring including a visit to a modern dairy farm and a beef feedlot. Also visit a large sheep station and lamb finishing operation providing high quality lamb Ontario wide. Enjoy a local style dinner.

Day 16 :
Up and at it early as we visit Canada’s Largest Year-Round Market held deep in the Mennonite Community. Visit an award-winning Holstein operation ranked as one of Canada’s top-managed herds, many times over. Next, we depart for Niagara Falls and hop aboard the Hornblower Cruise to feel the mist of the Canadian Horseshoe Falls on our faces. Check into your hotel to dry off before enjoying dinner at the brink of Niagara Falls.

Day 17 :
This morning tour along the Niagara Parkway stopping at a winery to sample “Ice Wine” – a dessert wine renowned for its intense flavours and smoothness. Continue to Ottawa, Canada’s capital city. After dinner check into your hotel for two nights.

Day 18 :
A visit to a soybean operation this morning. Enjoy the remainder of the day and evening at leisure. Sitting on the Ottawa River, with Parliament Hill at it’s centre, the city boasts some grand Victorian architecture and museums. The park-lined Rideau Canal is filled with boats in summer and ice-skaters in winter. Perhaps visit the Canadian Museum of History illustrating the development and culture of Canada followed by a relaxed dinner at Byward Market.

Day 19 :
Depart Ottawa and travel into Quebec, Canada’s French speaking province. First up is a grass-fed operation where their mission is to protect the land and environment for generations to come. Lunch on the farm before we head off to Parc Omega where you will spot Canadian wildlife such as caribou, bear and moose! Travel along the St Lawrence River and enjoy dinner at the Maple Sugar Shack where you can learn how maple syrup is produced

Day 20 :
We spend the day In Charlevoix, Quebec – a stunning spot In the middle of a crater, along the St Lawrence River. Named after French Jesuit explorer and historian, Pierre François-Xavier de Charlevoix, who travelled through the area in the 18th century. First up will be Canada’s largest Emu farm for a tour and tasting, along with demonstration of the oils. Later visit a Charlevoix lamb enterprise learning what is required to obtain this “destination of origin” certification.

Day 21 :
Once within the British Empire, In 1763, following the Seven Years’ War, France ceded to Britain all of its territories in mainland North America. Québec became isolated from the rest of the Francophone world. As a result, the French spoken in Québec followed its own unique trajectory. Take a guided tour of the historic “Walled City”, strolling the quaint shops and galleries. You have the rest of the day free to explore, spend time shopping or just relaxing and enjoying the ambiance of the old town.

Day 22 :
A morning tour of a manufacturing facility providing farmers with innovative and reliable equipment making the tasks of feeding animals and handling manure even more automated. We end off our tour in Montreal, Canada’s second largest city. Enjoy free time in the character area of Old Montreal.

Depart Montreal and fly to Vancouver. Enjoy time at leisure and a farewell dinner together
