DAY WISE ITINERARY
Day 1 :
Arrive New York (JFK Airport)
Arrive at JFK Airport (preferred time of arrival between 8am to 4 pm). On arrival meet our representative at baggage claim area who will assist you with your transfers to your hotel. Check in at hotel available from 3pm. Up until 6pm use this time to relax; at 6pm meet your tour manager at the hotel lobby. Depart for an Indian dinner followed by free time at Time Square known as one of most popular places in New York. At 10pm return back to your hotel. You may wish to stay longer at Times Square but you will need to make your own arrangements to the hotel.
Note: Our standard pick up is from JFK Airport but if you would like a pick up service from LaGuardia Airport or Newark Liberty International Airport are available on request but please note additional charges will apply. {D}
Day 2 :
New York City Tour
After breakfast depart for a city tour of New York. Enjoy a photo stop by the iconic bull at Wall Street followed by a ferry ride to Battery Park where the world famous Statue of Liberty lies (entrance to crown & pedestal is not included). Later visit the 86th floor of the Empire State Building which offers spectacular views of Manhattan from its observation deck. In the evening proceed for an Indian dinner. Then enjoy a illumination tour of Manhattan conducted in open double-decker bus. During the tour see glittering Manhattan Skyline, Greenwich Village, Soho, Little Italy, Manhattan Bridge, Brooklyn Bridge and Lower East Side. {B, D}
Day 3 :
New York – Philadelphia – Hershey – Washington DC
Drive to Philadelphia; on arrival enjoy a land and water sightseeing on a duck tour. Later drive to Hershey’s Chocolate World, here explore assortment of sweet chocolate attractions and treat your senses to the many wonders of chocolate. After drive to Washington DC and on arrival enjoy an Indian Dinner and later check in to your hotel. {B, D}
Day 4 :
Washington DC City Tour
After breakfast drive to Fashion Centre at Pentagon, here enjoy free time for shopping and lunch. Later visit The National Air and Space Museum of the Smithsonian Institution that holds the largest collection of historic aircraft and spacecraft in the world. Also view National Museum of Natural History which is the most visited natural history museum in the world. In the evening enjoy an Indian dinner before arriving at the hotel. {B, D}
Day 5 :
Washington DC – Niagara
Drive to Capitol Hill for a guided tour. Here view the iconic U.S. Capitol Building, Capitol Hill is where the business of Washington happens. Tour the Capitol, the U.S. Supreme Court and the Library of Congress. After lunch drive to Niagara. In the evening enjoy an Indian dinner before arriving at the hotel. {B, D}
Day 6 :
Full Day at Niagara
Depart to view Niagara Adventure Theatre which in 45 minutes you will witness Niagara Falls incredible stories and history. Then visit The Niagara Falls IMAX® Theatre which takes you on a ride over the Niagara Falls. Later embark on an unforgettable boat ride aboard the world-famous Maid of the Mist (subject to operation). The boat takes you to the curve of the Horseshoe Falls – the largest of the three falls. In the afternoon experience the Niagara Gorge Discovery Center, a showcase of the natural and local history of Niagara Falls. Later visit Aquarium of Niagara before departing for Indian dinner. {B, D}
Day 7 :
Niagara – Las Vegas
Check out and transfer to Buffalo airport for your flight to Las Vegas. Arrive at Las Vegas Airport (Airport code: LAS) (preferred time of arrival between 8am to 4 pm). On arrival meet our representative at baggage claim area who will assist you with your transfers to your hotel. Up until 6pm use this time to relax; at 6pm meet your tour manager at the hotel lobby. Day 8 :
Las Vegas – Free Day OR Optional Grand Canyon
The day is yours to explore the original ‘Sin City’. Stroll down the ‘Strip’, with its outrageous themed hotels or relax by the poolside. A walk along the ‘Strip’ offers many free attractions such as the breathtaking show of musical fountains at the Bellagio Hotel and the erupting volcano at the Mirage. Away from Las Vegas we recommend the magnificent Grand Canyon (not included). The Grand Canyon is one of the natural wonders of the world and is visited by millions of people every year
Passengers doing the Grand Canyon will be given packed breakfast from Earl of Sandwich. Passengers opting to stay back will be given a voucher towards breakfast at Earl of Sandwich restaurant.

Day 9 :
Las Vegas – Los Angeles
Drive to Los Angeles known as the City of Angels. Up on arrival embark on a panoramic tour with a professional guide. During the tour view the Kodak Theatre which hosts the annual Academy Awards known as The Oscars and then enjoy a walk along the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Later, drive through the rich and famous Rodeo Drive, view Beverly Hills Area and drive through Sunset Boulevard. Today you will also have time to take photos of the famous Hollywood sign. {B, D}
Day 10 :
Universal Studios Los Angeles
In the morning depart for a full day excursion to Universal Studios and go behind-the-scenes on the legendary Studio Tour to explore Hollywood’s most famous working movie studio. Experience the Jurassic Park Ride where you will come face-to-face with a 50-foot T-Rex before taking a treacherous 84-foot death-defying raft plunge. You will have the opportunity to visit many more rides and attractions before departing for your dinner and returning to the hotel. {B, D}
Day 11 :
Los Angeles – Monterey Bay
After breakfast proceed to beautiful Monterey Bay. On arrival enjoy the Spectacular 17 mile scenic drive with the world famous pebble beach. Before checking in to your hotel enjoy an Indian dinner. {B, D}
Day 12 :
San Francisco – Cable Car – Bay Cruise – City Tour
After breakfast enjoy a scenic bay cruise. During the cruise marvel at the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz as well other popular landmarks. Later enjoy a guided tour of San Francisco covering Fisherman’s Wharf, Nob Hill, Financial district, Twin Peaks, Lombard Street, China Town, Golden Gate Bridge Park and much more. We depart daily from the United States side of the Niagara River out of Lewiston NY from mid-June through to Labor Day. After Labor Day, we depart on a limited basis and weekends.

USA
The United States of America (USA) consisting of 52 States which are in central North America between Canada and Mexico. The state of Alaska is the north-western part of North America and the state of Hawaii is an island in the mid-Pacific.
The country also has five populated and nine unpopulated territories in the Pacific and the Caribbean. At 3.71 million square miles (9.62 million km2) and with around 318 million people, the United States is the world’s 3rd or 4th-largest country by total area and third-largest by population. It is one of the world’s most ethnically diverse and multicultural nations, the product of large-scale immigration from many countries. The geography and climate of the United States is also extremely diverse, and it is home to a wide variety of wildlife.
The United States is a developed country and has the world’s largest national economy.

Sockets in USA use two pin plugs. The voltage in USA is generally 120V, 60HZ, AC. Electric power is standardized in all states across the USA. It is set at 110 Volts and 60 cycles. If you are travelling to USA, you should carry an adaptor.
Passports and visa
Entry requirements for Indian Passport Holders: Passport valid for at least 6 months upon arrival. Visas are required.
Health
Medical facilities are of a very high quality but are extremely expensive. You are strongly recommended to obtain comprehensive travel and medical insurance before travelling. It should cover local hospitalisation and medical repatriation to your country of residence.
Go prepared for the heat. Use a high factor sun block and drink plenty of bottled water to guard against exposure and dehydration, which can result in serious health problems
Some prescribed and over the counter medicines that are available in the UK are considered to be controlled substances in the USA. Any such medication is not allowed into the USA without prior permission from the UAE Ministry of Health. If a passenger arrives in the USA without prior approval and the required documentation, the medication will not be allowed into the USA and the person may be subject to prosecution under the laws of the USA. A doctor’s prescription should be carried along with any medication that is brought into the country.
Insect and animal bites can be painful, set off allergic reactions, or become infected. Some also spread diseases such as malaria and rabies. Avoid insect and animal bites by using insect repellent on exposed skin.
Climate
The climate in USA varies across different parts of the country. Generally, the western and southern parts of US have warmer weather as compared to the eastern and northern parts. The eastern/northern parts of US experience harsh winters with heavy snowfall but the summers are pleasant. The western/southern part has extremely hot summers and comparatively tolerable winters
USA can be divided into six climate regions, excluding Alaska, Hawaii and outlying territories. The climate varies considerably between different regions.

This is the perhaps the wettest part of the country. There are scattered rain showers all year round. Temperatures are mild averaging around 40 degree F. (32.2 degree C). The summer months are pleasantly warmer but never too hot. You can see fogs along the coast during the warmer weather but the fog is less dense during mid-day.
Warm clothes: You will need extra warm clothes for winters like leather jackets, thermal jackets, warm inners, leather gloves etc.
West Coast (South and Mid )
(Includes states like California, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, Utah and Nevada)
These states have generally dry and delightful summers.
California has excellent weather all the year round, with the northern part of the state somewhat cooler (quiet chilly in the winter but seldom freezing). There are very few places in California that experience snow, and the state is known for its nice weather. Mostly all the cities have tolerable winters.
The winter months in the other states like Montana, Idaho and Wyoming can be very cold, with temperatures dropping well below 0 degree F. Colorado, Utah and Nevada are known for their excellent skiing.
Warm clothes: For California you will need warm clothes for winters. For the rest of the Mid-South Pacific region you will need warmer apparel.
Midwest
(Includes states like Dakotas, Kansas, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, and Indiana)
This region is moderately dry. Precipitation occurs mainly in late spring and early summer. Summers are pleasant but winter time can be harsh, with lots of snow and heavy chilly winds. Extremes within the Midwest can drop down to -50 degree F.
Warm clothes: You will need extra warm clothes for winters like leather jackets, thermal jackets, warm inners, leather gloves etc.
East Coast (North)
(Includes states like Ohio, Pennsylvania, Washington DC, Maryland).
This entire area is moderately rainy. In winter, the region experiences heavy snow and freezing rain. Summers are usually pleasant, sunny and warm. The fall is especially beautiful in wooded areas.
Warm clothes: You will need extra warm clothes for leather jackets, thermal jackets, warm inners, leather gloves etc.
East Coast (south)
(Includes states like portions of Arkansas and Louisiana, Kentucky, West Virginia, Virginia)
Like the Northeast, this entire area experiences moderate rains fairly evenly throughout the year. The Spring, Summer and Autumn seasons are all very pleasant. Some snow and freezing rain falls in winter but for the most part, the winters are quite mild and short lived.
Warm clothes: You will need moderate warm clothes for winters, but may need the extra warm ones for the cold weather that lasts for a very short duration of time.
Baggage
Baggage allowance will normally be 20kg – this will be dependent on the airline you are travelling with. Please ensure you adhere to current aviation regulations. Please remember that passengers’ will have to carry their luggage to and from the coach to the hotel room.

Currency
The local currency is the USA is US Dollar banknotes exist in denominations of $1, $2, $5, $10, $20, $ 50, and $100, and coins come in denominations of 1, 5,10,25,50 (cents).
ATMs accept foreign debit and credit cards including Switch, Maestro and Cirrus, and can be found throughout the USA, in shopping malls, hotels and petrol stations.
Hotels
All hotels have a minimum, 3* category. Facilities will include en-suite bathroom, a TV and telephone. Some also include bars, restaurants and 24-hour reception. If you use services such as the phone or mini bar, or pay TV whilst in your room, you will have to pay the hotel directly when you check out; these services are not included in your tour cost.
Travel Insurance
Green World Holidays strongly recommends you purchase travel insurance. Passengers are advised not to carry unnecessary valuables and to be vigilant at all times as tourist spots are well known targets for pick pockets. It is advisable to make copies of your visas and passports prior to travel.
Food
Traditional American cuisine uses indigenous ingredients, such as turkey, venison, potatoes, sweet potatoes, corn, squash, and maple syrup,
Slow-cooked pork and beef barbecue, crab cakes, potato chips, and chocolate chip cookies are distinctively American foods.
Breakfast will be provided at the hotels. The breakfast is usually in a separate dining area of the hotel, and is usually an extended continental breakfast; it will include tea, coffee, breads, cereals, fruit
General travel information
You should agree a charge with the driver before the journey commences and ensure that a seat belt is worn at all times.
Sensible precautions should always be taken when in unfamiliar surroundings. Take care of your passport and valuables, use hotel safes and beware of pickpockets and bag snatchers.
Do not leave your accommodation windows open especially if you are on the Ground floor; ensure that doors are left locked at all times. You should avoid political gatherings and demonstrations, and respect any advice or instruction from the local authorities.
